Makes  2 large portions (or 3 normal ones!)


200g (7oz) raspberries (keeping 4-6 for decoration)

40g (1.5oz) Scotts old-fashioned porridge oats

25g (1oz) soft dark brown sugar

80g (3oz) fromage frais (fat free is ok, if preferred)

100ml (Elmlea)double cream 

1-2 tbsp heather honey (according to taste)

A tbsp of your favourite whisky (to taste)


Mix the oats and the sugar and place on a metal tray until a hot grill until the oats are brown and the sugar slightly caramelised (BEWARE: it burns quickly!). Leave to cool.

Whip the cream until it forms soft peaks. 

Mix the fromage frais, oats, raspberries and whisky into the whipped cream gently so the raspberries are not too crushed.

Divide mixture between 2 glasses. Decorate with the reserved raspberries and pour honey over the top.

Chill for about 30mn. Serve and enjoy!
